Bjørn H. Kise has notified the election committee that he will resign as Chairman of the Board of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA following the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 7, 2019. The election committee has now started working on identifying new candidates for the position as Chairman of the Board. Kise has been a member of the Board of Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA since 1993 and as Chairman since 2010.
“The decision to resign from the Board of Norwegian is mine. It has not been an easy decision, but after 25 years on the board, many of which as Chairman, I am confident that this is the right decision. I have now reached an age where it is time to make room for new forces. This is also in line with my discussions with the election committee ahead of the AGM for 2018,” said Kise.
